Fatboy Slim and Friends: Three Days of Fun in Minehead!

Energetic scene from Fatboy Slim's Minehead EDM festival

Butlin’s Minehead was buzzing with three days of music, laughter, and unforgettable moments from Fatboy Slim’s iconic All Back to Minehead event! Just wrapped up this past weekend, the spectacle united fans and DJs in an energy-packed atmosphere that pulsed with joy—kind of like a bass-heavy heartbeat!

Friday Night Fever

The weekend kicked off in style with Greg Wilson spinning classic disco tracks, heating the crowd up like a summer’s BBQ! Then the History of Rave set featuring Sasha GiGi, Adelphi Music Factory, and Arielle Free had us grooving to those nostalgic beats—who knew we could still do the Macarena? The energy was infectious! Eats Everything cranked up the excitement with some rave bangers, followed by Special Request diving into deep techno vibes. And who better to end the night with a bang than Todd Edwards, leaving everyone with smiling faces and sore feet!

“The only thing that drops faster than a DJ changing tracks is my heart rate when I hear a good drop!”

Saturday: Q&A and Dance-athon

Saturday served some intimate vibes with a Q&A session featuring Fatboy Slim, hosted by the poet Brian Bilston, who sprinkled the event with some poetic flair. Dancing wasn’t just allowed—it was encouraged! As night approached, Sarah Story kept the energy high, featuring Eliza Rose and Melle Brown—literally, we could hear our feet asking for mercy! Then came the thrilling build-up to Fatboy Slim’s headlining set, which had everyone on a euphoric high, dancing like nobody was watching (but we all know they were!).

  • Highlight 1: The combination of poetry and beats would have even Shakespeare breaking out some moves!
  • Highlight 2: Who knew dancing till exhaustion could be considered an art form?!
  • Highlight 3: And when Fatboy Slim hit the stage, it was like a musical firework show exploded in our hearts.

Sunday: Chill and Thrill

Sunday began with a blissful start à la yoga with a “Rise and Shine” session and a soothing sound bath—because nothing says hangover cure like meditation! Fans were given dance lessons to the latest track ‘Bus Stop Please’ from Fatboy Slim. As night fell, Todd Terry and Groove Armada rocked the closing with Ibiza anthems, sending everyone into a dreamy state of bliss. And just when we thought the curtain had closed, Fatboy Slim returned for an electrifying encore, creating a finale that had us all buzzing longer than our post-party caffeine fixes!

“If this isn’t the best way to end a weekend, I don’t know what is!”

Beyond the Beats

But wait, there’s more! Guests also enjoyed pool parties, brunches, and workshops that would make even the most serious of heart-throbs blush. And, of course, the artist-in-residence My Dog Sighs made waves with live artwork, giving our Insta feeds a serious boost. So save the date: All Back to Minehead 2025 is coming November 7-10.
